Qualifications

Massage therapists are required to complete a minimum of 2200 hrs (two years) of training in the areas of anatomy, physiology, pathology, kinesiology remedial exercises, hydrotherapy and treatment of medically related conditions, including clinical exp. Upon graduation from a ministry of education and training approved massage school, the student may apply to write the licensing examinations. This includes a two day exam, a 6 hour written exam and a 1 hour practical.
