ACUPUNTURE
The purpose of acupuncture is to restore balance and
increase or decrease Qi (chee) by puncturing the correct
combination of points.
What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is part of traditional Chinese medicine
(Believed to be some 5000 yrs old.)
Acupuncture is based on the idea that energy (Qi) flows
through the body along 6 paired channels and 2 single channels
or meridians. These meridians end up and pass through organs in
the body. Illness and /or disease can result from blockages
along these channels. The acupuncturist will insert very fine
(one time use only) disposable needles into the body along the
meridians at certain points to help remove the blockages.

Cosmetic Acupuncture
A “cosmetic acupuncture face lift” stimulates and tones
sagging and aging skin, while removing toxins, encouraging cell
reproduction. It may erase fine lines and decrease deeper
lines. It can help reduce double chins; puffy eyelids even dark
circles under the eyes can be virtually eliminated. Cosmetic
acupuncture is not a replacement for surgical facelift it will
not provide an overnight solution. The improvements are subtle
and occur gradually over time. It is virtually painless, no
side effects or risk of disfigurement.
How Does It Work?
The insertion of fine disposable needles (one time use only)
into the face increases blood circulation, collagen, and
elastin to the area. This encourages the lines to fill in. The
increased nourishment and oxygenated skin and facial muscles
will naturally become tighter and rejuvenated.
